Hi everyone! Could anyone help me? I have a Saab 900 i16 -89 (235000km) with quite unefficient headlights. The lenses are pitted by small stones and reflectors are not so good either. Voltage is OK. I have rewired headlights using relays and heavy cables, current is taken straight from alternator. I don't want to use about 500 $ (here in Finland) to purchase a set of new headlights. So I am thinking to change to standard round 5 3/4 inch Hella headlights. Has anyone tried this and was it any worth? I could purchase new units for about 60 $ and round shaped units are most likely more efficient compared original Saab headlights. Next level would be using four lamps. The high beam units must be smaller I think. I would be glad if someone could give me any hints or advice. Seppo Metsala semenopsambaud.fi
