Subject: Clutch repair question

The other day a took my 85 Saab 900s, 8 valves (139K miles) for a clutch job. I have previously experience a problem with the reservoir which leaks empty. The mechanic told me that he put a new clutch, he charged me $325.00 (new slave cylinder, and new clutch), I got a feeling that the "new" clutch is the old one, the car work fine but the shifting "feels" the same, the reverse makes a noise like grinding if I don't press the pedal all the way to the floor. The clutch was fine before unless when the reservoir run empty. Any suggestions? I'll appreciate your coments Thanks! EE
