Of course perform basic elec sys. trouble shooting;alt drive belt tight ?Battery cables loose or corroded ? I'm sure you checked that. With a volt meter check the battery voltage with engine off. Check battery voltage with engine on. This gives you an idea of the charge provided by the alt. Remove the negative battery terminal. In a dark area with everything off touch the battery terminal to the battery lug. If you see a spark something is drawing battery power. Why would there be current flow from the battery when every thing is off ? I had the same problem. My original Saab battery became unreliable. I replaced it. Dead again. I couldn't find anything that would cause it. After looking into it I concluded someone must have hit the little trunk button on the inside of my door and left the trunk ajar. good luck. >
