Lloyd, Gearing and drag can both make a car with more hp not top-out as high as a car with less hp. Also keep in mind that Cd is not enough to compare drag values -- the calculation for drag multiplies (Cd)*(frontal area). A semi-truck with a Cd of 0.1 would have more drag than a pine-wood derby car with a Cd of 0.9, for example. The 300M could have a lower Cd, but a higher drag at a given speed than the Saab, since (I'm guessing) it has a much larger projected frontal area than the Saab. Alan Lloyd R.
