I had an 87 900S. I am not sure, but I think the muffler and tailpipe are one piece. On my 87 900S the pipe from the catalytic converter to the muffler perforated. Midas put in a new section of pipe for $65. Now I would check with Impex Distributors, 1-800-736-3550. I now have an 87 9000S.
