Subject: 5W50 synthetic oil grade



Has anyone heard  about problems with using the 5W50 synthetic oil?  It
sounds like the perfect solution for Eastern Canada - cold winters and hot
summers.  However, the old rule of thumb was to avoid oils with too wide a
range.  I will be grateful for opinions and possible warnings.  Thanks is
advance.
