I have a 1989 Saab 900S that's still in good condition but last night I couldn't start it because I couldn't turn the ignition switch (either way). Something else odd - I can only get the transmission (manual) into (and out of) reverse. It won't go into any other gear (maybe that's part of the problem or maybe it's just part of the anti-theft mechanism). I don't want to force the ignition switch because I'm afraid I will break the key off or bend it. Any ideas? Is this something I can fix myself (i.e. new ignition switch assembly, etc.)? Thanks for the help. ....... David
