My '91 9000 CS 2.3 turbo has a plate on the wall next to the oil filler cap. The plate says: "Elf Synthese 5W-50". I bought the car second hand, and have no idea where did the plate come from. Should I take it seriously or switch to 5W-40? -- Timur. Remove double s to send me an e-mail.
