Subject: Can I check on past service?

I recentally purchased a used Saab from a Dealer in Sacramento. During negotiations, I was dinged on my trade in because it was 7,000 miles from the next service. ( all of which had been done on time). They stated that they will need to service the vehicle prior to selling it ('94 900S). However,,,, I was told that my new(er) Saab('96 900SE) had it's 30,000 mi check, and was ready to go. On the drive home we noticed that the check should be at 35,000, not 30,000 and NONE of the services had been performed. After a few calls, they have admitted that the 35,000 check was not done either, and I bought it 500 miles prior to that. Now I'm having trouble believing anything that I was told. (DUH!) Is there anyway for me to research this vehicle. Needless to say, I'm not too happy with this dealer. Thanks
