Going with a used A/C compressor is risky. I got a rebuilt for my 87 9000S this past May from Impex Distributors, 1-800-736-3550, www.zstarr.com/impex. The compressor cost $310, including the shipping to me and return of the core to them. You will also need to replace your rec/dryer and expansion valve, as well as have your system evacuated and tested for leaks. The total cost on mine was $670.
