Debra, As long as they are about the same year, you should be okay. You may have a problem if one is from an 8 valve engine, up to 1986, and the other is from 900 with a 16 valve engine, 1987 and on. The 1985 should have an 8 valve engine. The 1986 turbo was a 16 valve and in 1987 they began doing the 900S models with the 16V engine. My 87 900S had the 16V engine, but there were a few 8V made.
