Subject: Re: 88 900 SPG having a problem w/ 5th gear and reverse any ideas?

i had a similar glitch in my 95 900. there is a nylon guide, or bushing (can't recall exactly what they called it), at the base of the shifter. as i understood it, that guide became worn. by the time i was able to get it to the dealer, i only had use of gears 1 - 3. it was a fairly simple fix, though. good luck stuart kunkler cincinnati, oh 86 900S 125K when traded 95 900SE (viva la V-6!)
