After I simply asked if there was a problem with my A/C or not on my '90 900S, my Tech took the liberty to disassemble my A/C system for $100. They found that the compressor was not coming on when the dash switch was pressed. They tested the anti frost switch and found it to be inoperative. So they jumped the pressure switch(whatever that means; I have little or no knowledge of A/C systems). After further inspection, they found the A/C double hose was leaking. Here were the following prices A/C Anti-Frost Switch- est $175 A/C Hose- est $385 I'm pretty sure that includes labor. I'm not that enthusiastic about paying $500+ for working A/C, esp after they charged $208 in 8/23/98 to replace the Schraeder Valves and recharge the system. Their leak check show nothing back then. I never used the A/C once between that service and the most recent one. Am I being shafted here or is this just typical? Thanks in advance. -Ilia remove "NOSPAM" to reply '90 900S
