I'm a little biased, because I'm a Saab Dealer in Ohio, but since I'm so far away, and don't stand a chance of getting the deal... The ventilated seats are a GREAT feature. I have them in my demo, and love it. The not only work in hot weather, but also in sunny weather when the sun heats up the interior, they do a great job of cooling off a sweaty back. The very early arrivals were somewhat noisy, but that problem seems to have gone away. Regarding the durability, time will tell. Many manufacturers have used perforated leather in the past with no problem. Plus, they, like the rest of the car, are under 4 year/50,000 mile warranty. The Saab will be a chnage from the Lexus, but having been involved with Saab since 1985, I can say that the 9-5 is the finest quality automobile Saab has ever produced, and should rival the Lexus on that score.
