Subject: 96 900 Exhaust lifters



The check engine light on a 96 900 is on, the dealer indicated a
problem with the exhaust lifters!!!  We have never heard of this,
after calls to 3 other dealers, we were informed that it is a common
occurrence (2.3 engine) caused by the OBD 2.

Any further info would be greatly appreciated.
