Under full boost, the 2.3T should just touch the edge of the red zone with occasional trips barely into the red. As the APC cycles, the boost will drop back. This particular car sounds okay to me. Stepping on the brake will cut out the boost on the later APC cars. Perhaps try driving the car at say, 45 mph or so in top gear, then stand on the gas. That will give a more realistic indication of where the boost will go, not to mention be quite enjoyable. The '91 and '92 9000Ts do require recalibration of the APC system if power's been cut. Paul
