Subject: Re: Central Locking System

>In the manual it says that the central locking system can be set to >auto lock the doors when the car starts moving and to auto open them >when the key is removed...Is this something I can set? Mine must have already been set by the dealer (in Belgium) - after driving above 10km per hour, the doors lock automatically and then unlock after stopping and removing the key. >Also, is there anyway to get the alarm to not chirp when arming and >disarming...I want the alarm to work and the lights to blink (to let >me know its been set), but I could live without the chirp... The only time I get a (low) beep is when I try to lock the car twice by mistake - just once locks the car and the lights flash as normal. I do get a (loud) beep when I open the boot (trunk) using the remote button, but I didn't realise the volume could be adjusted. Only minor irritation is that you really need to slam the boot/trunk to shut it and if it does not close, the light does not show on the dashboard display. Great car, shame about the weather here!!
