Make sure you have the original saab thermostat installed. Saab thermostats feature a 3-way design (1, no coolant goes through; 2, coolant circulates to both heater core and radiator; 3, coolant circulates only to radiator). Aftermarket thermostats genrally feature only a two way design,wshich does not feed any coolant to the heater core, thus you get cold air blown even though the engine is warm. I just changed my thermostat for the same reason. good luck
