Well, I've got an '86 with 230,000 miles, and it's in pretty good shape. 2nd gear synchro is a bit weak, and 3rd synchro seems to be weak intermittently (weird, I know). But otherwise fine. Had to replace the rubber pieces in the shift linkage, but that's outside the tranny, and a cheap job anyway. I should add that I'm this car's 3rd owner, so the tranny may not be original, although I beleive it is.
