Subject: Short circut in lights/brakes/turn signal

In my '89 900T, I have Head+tail lights, brake lights, and turn signals. I can use any two of them. If, however, I'm driving at night with the headlights on, turn on the turn signal (works fine), and then hit the brakes, the brake lights come on but the turn signal stops. The same happens with the hazard lights - work fine until I hit the brakes. I also noticed that when driving with the headlights on, if I hit the brakes (no turn signal on), the turn signal indicators lights on the dash glow slightly. Any ideas as to what's going on here? BTW, I've only had the car a short time and I know that the guy I baught it from had just put a new brake light switch in attached to the brake peddle - possibly a connection. Thanks, John jkwiprnopsamcom
