Subject: Re: turbo exhaust system

I'm not aware of an aftermarket exhaust system for the 9000T, but if you can find a shop that does exhaust work, have them custom bend and install a bigger diameter exhaust system, while eliminating the resonator (first muffler). When the orignal exhaust pipes rusted out on my '93 Aero, I had the muffler shop replace the entire system from the catalytic converter back with 2.5" pipe, replaced the resonator with a small glass pack, but am using the original rear muffler for the time being, as it's still good. When the rear muffler dies, it's getting replaced with a Walker Dynomax muffler. Even with the slight changes made to my Aero, I've noticed a slight power increase and no noise increase. If you go with 3" pipe, you might still gain a bit more power, but you will likely lose low-end torque in the process. Paul
