Here in the UK, the govt had it's budget and unleaded petrol (gas for US viewers) has gone up to around 69 pence a litre. I think that's about a dollar per litre - I don't know how many litres to a gallon. A recent news report said that to fill up with 50 litres of gas in the States costs around gbp 7.00 To fill up with 50 litres in the UK now costs around gbp 34.00 - of which gbp 27.00 is TAX! ...and this is when barrels of oil are at an all time dollar low!
