It is indeed a common complaint, but I must say of the four 9000s I've owned, and one other I've been with to help purchase, only one of them was cracked... 900s OTOH - they're all cracked! Be sure to use a good vinyl protectant regularly to keep it from drying out, and is possibly use a sunscreen when the car is parked outside - both of these will help. -Justin
