Subject: doors stuck on saab

I have a 1991 900S convertible - about 3 months after I purchased it, all of a sudden the passenger door started sticking to the point where you can't get out of the car without banging your shoulder against the door. The door opens fine from the outside. Then in January I purchased a 1992 900S 4-door - about a month after I bought it, the front passenger door started sticking in a similar fashion. However, this time, you can't open the door from the outside without pulling on the door very quickly and very hard. The door opens fine from the inside. On both cars, the door handles seem to operate as expected from both the inside and outside - it's just that on one you have to bang against the inside of the door to get out and on the other you have to yank the door very quickly and very hard to get in. Any suggestions? I can't imagine that my passengers have anything to do with how the door operates. They don't slam the door and neither car has been in a wreck or minor fender-bender. Thanks, Scott 1991 900S convertible 1992 900S sedan
