I had the same problem. Use snow tires in the winter. I do here in New Hampshire. I bought 15" with steel rims and am satisfied. The Pilots were great summer tires. There is no good 16 inch "all season" tire. It is always a trade-off and it is too nice a handling car to make those trade offs.
