FYI The speed limits vary from state to state from as low as 55 in West Virginia to NO LIMIT during daylight hours in Montana. Most states, however, are at 70 mph for their limits. As to the question of distances and speeds for long trips. I would guess that 85 is the minimum I would consider driving fast at a minimum of 5 consecutive hours. Our 97 Saab 900 turbo does 120 with no effort. Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!
