Have an '86 Saab 900 that has developed a nasty habit of stalling on long left hand turns (particularly if on an upward incline). Turning over the starter will get it going again as soon as I pull out of the curve. When this first occurred, I kept driving and eventually it stopped on me completely. I thought it must be a fuel injection problem and had to be towed. Then I thought maybe I had run out of gas and the indicator wasn't functioning. I filled the tank , it took a total of 23 litres, and the car ran fine until it got down to about the same level (two thirds of a tank full) when again it would stall out on turns (always a left hand). Obviously the stalling is a result of fuel starvation but ...why??? and why always on a left turn. At the moment I am filling the tank as soon as it drops below three quarters full and that seems to work. It's getting a little bit annoying though! Anyone have any thoughts as to why this is happening and how to go about correcting it? Thanks Tim Costar
