In both cars were you driving on the left (fast) lane of the highway?. These cars may be more susceptible to road crown effect: the left lane is sloping to the left. As an experiment, drive on the right lane and see if the car veers to the right; if it does then steering in this model is more sensitive to road crown. If it still veers to the left then it could be a tire (move the back tires to front and see) or I would take it to an alignment specialist.
