I own a 1990 SAAB 900 with 125000 miles. Every year since I bought the car (new) from the dealer, the air conditioning unit has to be recharged with freon. They were never able to locate a leak. Today, I was told that the compressor had gone bad. Being somewhat fed-up, I am trying to determine if other options exist besides the SAAB compressor. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks.
