My 1989 900i (125000miles) has taken, over the last year or so, to cutting out intermittently & very occasionally. It's more an irritation than anything else; if I turn off & restart it's fine. It isn't replicable - doesn't seem to be related to speed, revs, weather, type of fuel or anything. I've changed the fuel filter. I did have a similar problem once vith a Volvo & that turned out to be a dodgy fuel pump relay. Any suggestions very welcome. Andrew Nye
