What does Volvo have that is small and nimble? Are you kidding? The 9-3 is Saab's smallest car and it is 182.2 inches long and weighs about 3260 pounds in Viggen form (estimate based on SE 5 HOT). It earns an EPA classification as a midsize car. Compare that to Volvo's midsize car, the S70. The S70 T5 is 185.9 inches long and weighs 3272 pounds (3333 with automatic). The T5 has more power than the Viggen and sells for under $32k delivered under the European Delivery program (Saab has a similar program). As you can see, $39k will buy you a good chunk of car. For $39k you can buy a S80 T6 with full soft leather and moon roof under this same program. It is nimble for it's size and class but I wouldn't call it nimble in comparison to a significantly smaller car. If you want a smaller option, look at the S40 turbo. It will be even smaller, cheaper, and more nimble than the S70. Regarding Audi, well...for almost $39k I think you will be able to get the S4 if you have patience (will have to wait until the market adjustment goes away). -rdo russell.ollienopsamnet Riff wrote: > No use the Viggen, they are around the same price here in the US. > > What does Volvo have that is small and nimble? anything? > > and I dont want to spend more than $39,000 > > the audi is neat, but doesn't feel right, and the orange dash is > anoying. > > Mark > 91 SAAB SPG RED APC BFICP > > Ted Harlan wrote: > > > > Wouldn't it make a lot more sense to compare the 328i to a 9-3 SE H.O.T.? > > > > Ted Harlan
