So don't worry about it... Absolutely! I currently own an '88 9000 Turbo with almost 230,000 miles on it - and the original turbo. My '85 900T had 190k on it before the transmission went out - on the original turbo. My '87 9000T had 215,000 on it. My roommate's parents had an '88 9000T with 190k on it before it was wrecked. I still have the turbo from my '85 900T and it's getting ready to go on another car! Turbo replacement is NOT something you have to worry about on ANY Saab. And in the *off* chance your turbo does go south, replacements are cheap and plentiful. $200 for a used one, $600 for a rebuild on yours. And having to drop $600 every 200,000 miles is *hardly* worth worrying about. -Justin
