tk, I have a 6 cd player in the hatch of my '93 aero. It rarely skips. I would think there are 2 areas you could look at; (1) The car, tires, your driving , or the road--meaning that the bumps input to the unit are greater than it can handle.Other than changing your driving style, etc., you might take some pressure out of the tires, if appropriate. (2) The easier fix-your cds are dirty. I do have a home unit given to me that kips alot, haven't been able to fix despite cleaning cds, the lens. Good luck
