Very useful advice from this newsgroup regarding my 9000S clutch problem...I bit the bullet and took the car to the Saab garage who seem to have done a pretty good job ( which I suppose they ought to for £360) Our other Saab, a 1990 900i has a more chronic problem. Every few months the idle slows and becomes irregular, to the point where it stalls frequently. This has gone on for a year.The garage can fix it for a short while, and then it comes back. They say this is a 'characteristic' of the car and that it can't be cured, which I find rather surprising - has anyone come accross this before and do they have a solution? Otherwise the car runs fine.
