Again, we cannot use data, so let me give you a REAL LIVE EXAMPLE. I totalled my father's first Saab a 1990 9000 CD (at that time 240.000 kms). Me and my girlfriend where driving at a speed of 60 km/h (app. 40 Miles/h) and we were (strangely enough) not wearing our seatbelt. All of a sudden a guy came out of a little street without even looking (he didn't had priority) about 10 meters before me. I couldn't even hit the brake. I took the guy in the side at full speed, and then drove up a sidewalk which was 30 cms high and crashed into a traffic sign. We didn't have a thing, the car was totalled because of the age and the miles. Doesn't this real-life example show that the 9000 is quite safe ? Johan 83 900 GLi 94 9000 CS 94 9000 CSE
