Subject: Saab 900S '88  Transmission



Hello Saab owners,

I recently purchased an '88 900S  5 speed.  It has a problem with
popping out of 3rd gear.  I heard that Saabs have had a problem with
3rd gear  and it is a major transmission repair to correct.

Has anyone experienced this problem?  Please give me whatever input you
can.  How much was the repair etc.?
