Can anyone give me any advice to help me to get the aircon working on my 87 9000 Turbo? Having found that the system was empty I fitted a new condenser and had the system refilled by a local refrigeration firm. It successfully held pressure. I thought at this point that the ACC system would kick the compressor into action when required, since the system pressure switch would now be made. No such luck.. The clutch on the compressor works when wired directly, but the compressor makes a racket. Do you think someone has tampered with the circuit to avoid a faulty compressor? The ACC unit displays no fault codes when interrogated. Does any one recondition compressors? (UK)
