Might be also just (hopefully) stiffness. It is fairly easy to lubricate the gearsticks mechanism. If the white ball at the lower end of the stick is dry will shifting be "tougher". Check also adjustment (stick moves freely) and the rubber between the gearbox and the stick. It is located near the firewall under the car and in the engine compartment. It might be "torn" causing inaccurate shifting. > I tried to bleed the slave cylinder, but with no result. Could the clutch be > worn out? If reverse gives "a sound" you have to worry about the cluth, not otherwise. The cluth usually takes 150tkm, might be time to change it. I have read in this newsgroup that the cluth pedal or it´s "mechanism" can be worn, might be worth checking if the cluth doesn´t come off when pushed. > The car has run 270.000 kilometers and it's in a very good shape, so I > really hope that somebody can help me! > > Regards, Torben Schiff, Aalborg, Denmark Roy
