Hello Gerard! I think, that your problem might be caused by a collapsed cell in the battery. From time to time the cell may have made a simple short circuit, causing the voltage to drop immediately. Try to measure out the charging level on each cell in the battery. You'll probably find out, that at least one cell is totally gone down! Another thing you must check out is the wiring from the battery to the connector box located on the right/inner side of the engine room. Also check the ground wires in the engine room. I once discovered a rusty connection in the ground point located to the right side on the beam supporting the cooler. (Just underneath the cooling fan). Regards, Torben.
