I've used amsoil once... it seemed to be ok... It's a full synthetic oil. Most dealers will set you up with the amsoil package which includes a heavy duty oil filter system, they will then test your oil at 10k mile and let you know if it needs to be changed. I think I paid about 5 bucks a quart and about 10 for the filter. The heavy duty filter system was about 100 dollars. Some people swear by it.
