Subject: Knocking sound on 900i 16

Hi there. I guess my Elk is getting kinda old. 260,000 km and the engine starts making noises. It's a knocking sound, coming a few times when starting the cold engine and then, after warming up, permanently. The noise is directly rev-dependent. It doesn't sound like a damaged rod bearing, so what's up? One of the hydraulic valve adjusters? I'm not sure, but I think the noise is coming with half engine speed. JK'99
