John... I my 86 900T I use BFGoodrich comp T/A's that I bought at BJ's ($56.00), on the new design the side wall is stiffer (one more ply) which I think gives the car better handling, and I do drive it hard. The previous tires were also T/A's, at $56.00 ea. with a rating of A,A you cannot beat it (195-60R-15). My 86 Olds Touring Sedan came with GOODYEAR GT + 4's, but when I went to replace them a couple of years later I was quoted $130.00 ea....don't think so, I replaced them with the T/A's with no loss in handling, ride or winter traction, as a mater of fact they were quieter.
