Why would Redline MTL be impractical? I just changed to it and the shift feel is remarkably nicer. Since the tranny has 160k I still take it easy, however the fast shifts feel "newish" to me. MTL was $21 for three quarts at http://www.importpartsspec.com/ Tell Rick, *Kai* mentioned it! So you buy it mailorder and ask whomever to put it in for you.
