I had to pay $75000 for a 9-5 SE in Australia. The SE here adds leather, power seats, walnut dash and better mags/sound system, but no moon roof. Whatever the price, you are better off by far than we are here! As a comment, the 9-3 is a very well developed car and should have few problems. I had none with several 900's or 99's for that matter. The 9-5 is a new design, and shows it. I have had and am still having teething problems with mine after a year. Like things falling off it (driving light, cigarette lighter socket), faulty design (power seat switch, gear interlock solenoid), strange problems like erratic results from the trip computer, poor starting (will have to start six or seven times when cold as it stalls each time as soon as you put it in to gear or try to move off, even if you let it warm up for a minute or so) and now today I started getting huge resonant vibrations shaking the whole car as I motored up slight inclines with minimum throttle at around 45kmph, on a smooth road. It's still a great car, if they could get the bugs out of it, but I'm not a happy man. -- Regards, Peter Wilkins (wilkinspnopsamnet.au)
