Timing belt should be done I think. Make sure everything is checked by a Saab mechanic concerning the transmission and the engine. According to my good friend RCS the roofs are very vulnerable so check that as well. >Should I be concerned about that kind of mileage on the engine? If the car is treated well and serviced as it should you could run it for another 60 or 70000 miles without too much trouble. >Are used engines easy to come by, and what should I budget for used engine >purchase and installation? I can only speak for Belgium, but there are some good engines available but you should consider a serious budget though. It is quite some work and a good engine will cost you something.
