Well folks, had my 25k service done on my '97 9000 CSE today. Service was done by an outfit called the "Merrimack Valley Service Center" (MVSC) in Lawrence, Ma. They are located on Rt.110 E, about 2 miles from Rt.93. The place was refered to me by several of you and I am glad I took your advice. Very professional, Saab only service center. All mechanics are Saab certified, all are race drivers of one sort or another, yes they race Saabs. The shop, though old, is in immaculate shape, surgically clean and very proud (if a garage can be proud, this one is). I had them do the 25k and look at several other things, bill came to less than $70. Not only did they do the car, they took as much time as needed to answer questions, explain things, give some options (my case tires) and advise me on performance "witchcraft vs reality". Very cool place, very much Saab enthusiasts. I would reccomend them highly to those of you who want super high quality care for your Saab. Besides, its's a kick parking your car next to one of thier "little race cars" (what looked like a 900 on steroids). The tires? I went with another bit of advice given here, the BFG Comp T/A HR's, $60 each at BJ's. Michelins were $110 and I swore them off after the last set, not due to performance, but wear, only seem to get 25k out of them, ever. That's it for now gang. jmk
