I installed an 86 trans. in an 84 900 3 dr car. I have trouble with it poping out of 2nd 3rd and 4th unless I rest my hand on shift lever. Is there a difference in the shift linkage travel or something else differnent in the shift linkage? Trans works fine. I replace rear bearing and counter shaft. Can anyone offer a hint. Dave.
