How much of an advantage would AWD be compared to the FWD already on the Saabs? AWD alone does not give you better traction. A Saab with real snow tires and a manual transmission will have more traction than an AWD with all season tires. Plus added weight, cost and maintenance of the AWD needs to be considered. I had a friend who got rid of his Audi AWD when the 10 universal joints needed replacement. Are you sure you really want AWD?
