Subject: Is My Saab Falling Apart?

Hello; I have always appreciated the combined knowledge of newsgroups. I am new to your group for I have recently purchased from a Saab dealer a '91 900 Turbo Convertible with 93k. The dealer put on a new top and went over the car. Unfortunately, in the two weeks since I have purchased it over $1800 of things have gone wrong. First it needed a clutch master cylinder. A different Saab dealer (near our town) fixed it, but when it came back the AC did not work. The dealer replaced the AC Evaporator and updated the AC system and hoses. When I got it back the alarm system did not work and the turbo gauge is stuck at 12 o'clock. In addition, the AC is much less cold than before. Here are my questions. I need a reliable car. Does it sound like I have an exception to the Saab reliability story? Could my dealer have done something during the AC evaporator installation? He told me he removed the dash. What would you do? Thank you in advance for any insight you can give me. Bob W. '91 900T '92 Miata
