In article <7mrj4f$33u$1nopsamprod.itd.earthlink.net>, pgellernopsamhlink.net says... > Where were you getting a clearlens and HID or Xenon kit? i too would be > interested... Well, so far WHERE to get it has been the only hard part :) The closest I have come so far is from Accelerated Response Motoring (www.acceleratedresponse.com). Dan from A.R.M. was VERY nice and said: "Regarding the Xenon bulbs for your 9000, we do not carry the Xenon bulb kit as it is very expensive, but we do have the super white and laser white halogen bulb replacement. The super white bulbs are 80W high output bulbs which when viewed from the front have a slight blue tint to them. The light itself is white but they appear tinted blue from the front. The laser white bulbs are made with a blue glass which gives a deeper blue effect. The light is also white but when viewed from the front they are very blue looking. The super white bulbs are regularly $18.50 each US and the Laser White bulbs are regularly $41.00 US each." It's a step in the right direction, but I do have to warn you that I saw similar bulbs in a 95 9000CSE and they weren't impressive because the stock lenses on the car prevented them from looking the way they should due to the hashing on the front. A lot of people have been asking me about the Xenon/Clearlens replacement, so the SECOND I find something, I will post it to my site (saab.net) and certainly share the information with alt.autos.saab. Take Care.
